The Department of Engineering at Thompson Rivers University is a recent initiative to offer the BEng Software Engineering program.

Qualifications:

The successful candidates must possess a PhD in Software Engineering or an equivalent from a recognized university. The candidates teaching and research experience must be within the core areas of Software Engineering.
Candidate should demonstrate expertise to teach majority of the following courses in the areas of Software Engineering:


Data Structure & Algorithms
Cloud Computing Programming
Software Design & Architecture
Computer Game Development
Safety Critical Systems
Software Requirements Engineering
Formal Methods

Preference will be given to candidate who currently have a valid Full Professional Engineer license from any of the professional engineers’ associations within Canadian jurisdiction. Candidate must report in their CV their current professional engineer license status. However, successful candidate is required to become registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of British Columbia within the first three years of their initial appointment.

Demonstrated knowledge or familiarity with CEAB (Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board) accreditation process is a valuable asset.

Pay Band: $73,665.93 - $163,084.94 ( According to TRUFA Salary Schedule (Range TS01 - TS28)
